HH HEADED FOR LANDSLIDE

… Hichilema’s development record will secure overwhelming re-election victory, says Bwalya

By Adrian Mwanza

ZAMBIANS will give President Hakainde Hichilema a resounding victory because he has delivered more than they expected, United Party for National Development (UPND) member Frank Bwalya has said.

In an interview with UPND Media, Bwalya said Zambians would not hesitate to give Hichilema another mandate, as he had achieved a lot over the past five years.

Bwalya said the country was under a lot of economic challenges, which were negatively affecting Zambians.

“President Hichilema has done a lot and trust me, the people of Zambia are not gullible and are watching what the Head of State is doing therefore, they will give him another mandate,” he said.

Bwalya said the UPND government had provided essential healthcare to Zambians by ensuring that hospitals were well stocked.

Bwalya said this was not the case in the past, when most hospitals did not have adequate drugs, resulting in deaths.

He said the UPND had introduced, among other things, the school feeding programme under which children from underprivileged families were now able to have proper meals at school.

Bwalya said Hichilema’s government had introduced free education, which made it easier for children to access education and reach greater heights.

“If you look at the mining sector, it is a similar thing as it has been greatly revamped due to the policies that have been put in place,” he said.

Bwalya said Hichilema had employed a lot of Zambians in the civil service.

He said failure to vote for Hichilema would be unfortunate, as he had sacrificed a lot to improve their livelihoods. Story courtesy of the UPND Media Team
