Thieves Strike Kabwe Western Union, Make Off with Cash

THIEVES have struck a Western Union outlet at Mukuyu Mall in Kabwe, escaping with a safe containing cash.
The shocking heist which occured around 02:00 hours on Wednesday has left the community shaken, with many questioning security measures in the area.
Preliminary information obtained by the Mast suggest that the criminals forcefully gained entry in the financial institution, removed the safe, dragged it into a vehicle before speeding off to an unknown destination.
By Press Time, police were yet to issue a statement on the incident.
