HH has unfinished business with Barotseland – Aka

LOZI prince Dr Akashambatwa Mbikusita-Lewanika has advised President Hakainde Hichilema to apologise to the people of Barotseland for the wrongs he has committed against them.
Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika said Mbikusita-Lewanika was too proud and too cowardly to return to the region and say sorry.
Speaking at a National Reconciliation Party for Unity and Prosperity (NRPUP) rally in Kasama on Sunday, Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika used the Barotseland issue to endorse NRPUP presidential candidate Brian Mundubile and his running mate Makebi Zulu.
“We have a President in Zambia who has wronged Barotseland, and he is too proud to say he is sorry. He is too proud and too cowardly to go to Barotseland and say sorry,” he told the explosive crowd.
Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika said the country needed real change, not just a change of faces in State House.
“The world is in your hands. Where we are going is for change. We want to change the person of the President of Zambia, to change the ruling party, to change the Constitution, to change the economy, to end tribalism, and to bring equality for men, women and all provinces,” he said.
Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika described Mundubile as a son of a gallant freedom fighter and warned that the struggle for freedom did not start today.
He said Mundubile and Zulu were not coming just to sit where HH was sitting, or where Nalumango is sitting, but to deliver people power and development.
“I have faith that these two people are coming to bring real change, to change the Constitution and the economy, to have people power and not a President who abuses the Constitution; to please the people of Africa, not Washington,” Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika said.
He announced the launch of the ‘AKA Campaign Machine’, saying he would campaign for the pair until August 13.
“I am here to endorse you, my president, for change,” Dr Mbikusita-Lewanika said.
