Zesco (1) 4-2 (1) Red Arrows

NDOLA Giants Zesco United are the ABSA Cup champions after beating defending champions Red Arrows 5-3 on post-match penalties to win the K1 million while Arrows walked away with K400 000.
The match went to penalties when the two teams settled for a one all draw after full time.
Zesco, who has claimed their seventh title opened the lead through Abraham Siakombo on 17 minutes after lone short which goalkeeper Charles Kalumba failed to serve.
Despite creating many chances, Arrows could not find the back of net as James Chamanga’ failed to create his 34 and 45 the minutes header.
After the second half, Arrows came breathing fire when Joseph Phiri equalised for the airmen on 54th minutes.
Both teams kept pushing forward in search for goals but could not find the back of the net until the final whistle with the match going to penalties.
Zesco scored through Alex Ngonga, Solomon Sakala, Dennis Nya, Fred Micheal.
Sadamu Phiri and Peter Kalota scored for Arrows while veteran James Chamanga and Mitchie Malungs missed the penalties.
