MY heart was always with the people of Petauke and still is, says fugitive former Petauke Central Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Banda.
Banda, who is facing charges of aggravated robbery, advised the electorate in Petauke to vote for Tonse Alliance candidate Simon Banda “for chitukuko [development] to go forward.”
Making his endorsement on his Facebook page yesterday, Banda advised the electorate to vote for someone who has a heart for Petauke, who will be with them in times of trouble and one will listen to them.
He also tipped them to go for a person who is willing to use his personal resources to sponsor or help families in times of need like school, hunger, and funerals.
“Last but not the least, don’t be blinded by lavishing or K100 you receive just because it’s a bye -election. Remember they promise but fail to deliver when voted into office. As Team Tractor worked and made sure we delivered on our promises,” he said.
